Plymouth State Softball Goes to Clermont Florida

The Plymouth State softball team took their annual spring break trip to Clermont, Florida to play 10 games against some of the best Division 3 teams in the country.  Although their record didn't portray good results (2-8), they were in every single game and lost two in extra innings.  With a very young team, there were a lot of positive takeaways from the trip.  Plymouth State beat SUNY New Paltz (New York) and Lawrence University (Wisconsin) during their 7 day trip.  They play a non-conference double header on Thursday at Salem State and have their first conference games on Saturday when they travel to Eastern Connecticut State University.
